With another giggle, she pulls back just a bit. ] There are a bunch of different kinds, and there's plenty if you wanted to share with your roommates or anything.
Oh, I'm definitely sharing the spoils. Fenton needs the sugar rush to speed up his experiments, and... it's nice to get Drake to shut up when he's babbling about Darkwing, so shoving cookies in his beak will do the job.
[ She does not know either of her housemates, but she laughs anyway. She'll have to take Della's word for it. ]
Oh, that reminds me. [ She reaches into her bag again, pulling out a different basket. ] I got some treats for Atom too. I didn't make these, so I hope he likes it.
[ Della leads her to the kitchen, and begins shuffling around to grab some mugs, cocoa powder, milk, pot, kettle, etc... ]
Okay, so, first, the backstory. My uncle has always aimed to be the richest duck in the world, ever since he was a duckling. To that end, he's traveled all over the world and taken every odd job available. Also, pretty sure he's either immortal or a time traveler, but, whatever.
So a super long time ago, way out at the North Pole, Uncle Scrooge was selling coal door to door. Unfortunately, he was kind of being a giant jerk about it - since it's super cold there, he knew he could jack up the prices to way more than was necessary. But he was a one-man operation at the time, so he was having trouble making deliveries.
That's when my uncle met the big man himself... Santa Claus.
